It’s a new day for the iconic Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, and the organization is on the hunt for a new event producer to lead MVFAF to even greater heights.

Steve Bajor, a larger-than-life figure in Mill Valley for decades, resigned as the event’s executive director in late December after more than 16 years at the helm of the prodigious arts & culture event. Born and raised in Mill  Valley. For 65 years, the festival has had a Board of Directors, a Committee comprised  of numerous positions who handle the production, and an Executive Director who  provides overall supervision and support.

With Bajor’s departure, MVFAF has issued a request for qualifications seeking an event producer for its annual arts festival hosted in Mill Valley’s historic Old Mill Park. The event producer will partner with a collaborative non-profit, and work together with the festival’s long-standing and experienced volunteer committee, to produce an annual juried festival that brings together artists, musicians, and the greater community in celebration of fine arts.

The RFQ is the first step in seeking an event producer. It is available on the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival’s website HERE.
