Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church continues to be a place of welcome for the community as we head into the Christmas holidays.
They’re hosting several upcoming services during the holiday season:
On Sunday, December 10th, during their regular 10:30am service: Children’s Christmas Pageant. “This will be a fun one! The kids will share the story of Jesus’ birth and sing a selection of Christmas hymns,” says Tricia Wiig, Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries. “You never know what will happen during a children’s Christmas pageant, but it’s usually those little unplanned things that make it absolutely perfect!”
On Thursday, December 21st, 6:30pm – Pastor Luke Ham shares: “As an act of care for our community, Mt. Tam will be hosting a service for the Longest Night. We will make space for and give voice to the elements of our lives and world which weigh heavy on our hearts through music, candles, poetry and readings from sacred texts. The service will conclude with a candlelit labyrinth walk.”
On Sunday, December 24th, Christmas Eve at 4pm, there will be a Wiggles and Giggles Service geared to families with young children. All are welcome! (In-person + livestream – facebook @mttamchurch)
Later that evening, at 7pm, there will be a Traditional Candlelight Service with music and readings. (In-person + livestream – facebook @mttam church)
Regular services and Sunday School are every Sunday morning (including on Christmas Eve), 10:30am.
