Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church continues to be a place for community and constant innovation and creation.

Children’s Christmas Pageant & Rehearsals:
Every year we host a children’s Christmas pageant which is a highlight for our congregation. Children dress up in costume and share the story of Christ’s birth along with Christmas hymns and carols during our Sunday morning worship service at 10:30am. This year’s pageant takes place on Sunday, December 15th. All are welcome to join us for worship. Children in the community are invited to participate in our pageant. Rehearsals begin Sunday, November 10th. Late sign ups are accepted! For more information or to register your child to participate, visit https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdjMh3eSm_JQxrfOaquODiHN2d2VhYGcQC–jAXXfrWaAlGGA/viewform.

Red Cross Blood Drive:
In partnership with the American Red Cross, Mt. Tam Church is hosting a blood drive on Friday, November 15th, from 10am-3pm in our Fellowship Hall. While appointment times are already full, we are keeping a list of names on a waitlist in case we have cancellations or last-minute no-shows. If you’re willing to be on-call, please email triciawiig@mtumc.org with your name, phone number, email address and blood type (if known). We will reach out as needed.

Event is free with lunch included. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. Children will go home with decorated cookies and handmade gifts ready to put under the tree. Longest Night Service:
The holiday season is often marked by expressions of joy, excitement, and happiness. However, this period of celebration can often overshadow the pain, hurt and loneliness that many experience during this time of year. As an act of care for our community, Mt. Tam Church will be hosting a Service for the Longest Night of the Year on Saturday, December 21st in our sanctuary. During this gathering, we will make space for and give voice to the elements of our lives and world which weigh heavy on our hearts. This service is open to people of all faith traditions and will feature music, candles, poetry, and readings from sacred texts. Questions? Contact Rev. Luke Ham at luke@mtumc.org.

Christmas Eve Services:
All are welcome to join us for our Christmas Eve services on Tuesday, December 24th.
4 PM: Wiggles and Giggles Service geared to families with young children (all are welcome)
7 PM: Traditional Candlelight Service
