Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church continues to be a place for community and constant innovation and creation.
Children’s Christmas Pageant & Rehearsals:
Every year we host a children’s Christmas pageant which is a highlight for our congregation. Children dress up in costume and share the story of Christ’s birth along with Christmas hymns and carols during our Sunday morning worship service at 10:30am. This year’s pageant takes place on Sunday, December 15th. All are welcome to join us for worship. Children in the community are invited to participate in our pageant. Rehearsals begin Sunday, November 10th. Late sign ups are accepted! Longest Night Service:
The holiday season is often marked by expressions of joy, excitement, and happiness. However, this period of celebration can often overshadow the pain, hurt and loneliness that many experience during this time of year. As an act of care for our community, Mt. Tam Church will be hosting a Service for the Longest Night of the Year on Saturday, December 21st in our sanctuary. During this gathering, we will make space for and give voice to the elements of our lives and world which weigh heavy on our hearts. This service is open to people of all faith traditions and will feature music, candles, poetry, and readings from sacred texts. Questions? Contact Rev. Luke Ham at luke@mtumc.org.
