Beginning Saturday May 8 at 12pm, the downtown Miller Ave. street closure between Throckmorton and Sunnyside Avenues shifts to a full, one-block closure on Saturdays from 12pm through Sundays at 8pm for the foreseeable future. Participating business owners and volunteers will be installing and breaking down these barricades. Traffic patterns will return to full two-way access Sundays at 8pm through Saturdays at 12pm.
The closure accommodates emergency access and egress, while allowing our community to enjoy a great outdoor experience. Additional bike racks have been installed helping to encourage cycling to downtown.
