More than 1,000 people gathered on the Depot Plaza on Dec. 3rd!

Winterfest, the 94941’s annual holiday celebration produced by the Mill Valley Chamber‘s and Organized Chaos Events, returned to the Downtown Plaza on December 3rd, drawing a massive outpouring of residents, participants and friends for TWICE THE HOLIDAY FUN.

The event was an absolute blockbuster, with more than 1,000 locals and friends gathering on the plaza for an evening of good cheer, including performances from the Tam High Holiday EnsembleHappy Feet tap dancers, Singers Marin, Marin Girls Chorus, all capped off with a visit from the one and only Santa Claus, some fantastic words from Rabbi Hillel Scop from Chabad Mill Valley, all capped off with from the one and only Santa Claus and some remarks from Mill Valley Mayor Urban Carmel and his official Tree Lighting countdown.

But we are FAR from finished. In addition to Sunday’s performances downtown, we’re revisiting the holiday spirit again in two weeks on Sunday, Dec. 17th from 12-4pm at the Community Center. 

We’ll have another lineup of great performances – including the one and only Millbillies, Sweaty Baby, Marin Conservatory of Dance, Rock the Ages, Ellie McKee and Roco Dance & Fitness, as well as a bunch of great children’s games and activities like the huge slide, a jumpy house, cornhole and an array of additional activities, both inside and outside at the Community Center.

Post-Winterfest Holiday Screening of ‘Smallfoot!!

At the conclusion of the event on Dec. 17th at 6pm, the Chamber and Mill Valley Recreation are continuing the holiday joy with a screening, in the Cascade Room, of the delightful Smallfoot, an animated holiday tale.
