The 20 days of Shopping showcase, which kicks off Dec. 1 at the Aquatics & Fitness Center, allows local business owners and craftspeople to sell their wares during the morning hours of the first 20 days of the month. The showcase features a different vendor each day, only one at a time, with the vendor keeping all of their profits for only a $20 application fee for the three-hour period. For the 4th Annual Health & Wellness Fair, MV Recreation is looking for local businesses and organizations that support health, wellness, fitness, inner and outer beauty, well-being and community to set up at the fair, which occurs 10am-2pm after the Family Fun Run/Walk. The department is also looking for donations from local businesses to provide samples or postcard coupons for the the Fun Run Race bags. Contact Reisinger directly if you’re interested. Reisinger is also looking for businesses interested in hosting an outdoor fitness demonstration or an indoor mini-workshop (lectures/guided discussions) inside the main Community Center.
