Kelly Scott, a longtime ultra-creative downtown Mill Valley retailer and owner of The Goods, has regularly used her imagination to expand on the palette at her shop at 6 Miller that is laden with “unique gifts, vintage finds, locally sourced treasures and lots of cashmere.” In the years since, Scott took over a portion of 30 Miller Ave., the former Terrestra space that was owned by the husband-and-wife duo of Ray Kristof and Amy Satran and described as a “museum store without the museum.”

Now Scott is partnering with Suzanne Gray, a huge figure in the Bay Area gallery business, to take the reins at Mill Valley Mercantile, a staple in the downtown boutique community that has long been known as a family-owned women’s clothing boutique that has been a cherished destination for fashion enthusiasts for over two decades.

Scott and Gray will be sharing more about their plans for Mill Valley Mercantile in 2025.

The track record of Scott and Gray are highly regarded in town.
