Makers Market‘s monthly Open Air Markets return to the Mill Valley Lumber Yard are back, starting Saturday, July 8, 11am-5pm, with some of the best local makers offering jewelry, organic body, CBD products, candles, plants, home goods, apparel, glass, and more.
“These open air artisan faires bring the best of the Bay Area’s skilled craftspeople into one space for residents to enjoy,” says Makers Market founder Suzy Ekman. These events regularly feature live music and a hand-selected group of local, artisan makers, offering visitors and locals a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
These markets are free and open to the public and take place surrounded by the beautiful boutiques and eateries of ‘the Yard,’ offering the opportunity to stroll around the gorgeous MVLY with great food and drinks from Watershed Mill Valley, Eddy Bar & Bottle, Millie’s Crepe et Creme and Flour Craft Bakery Mill Valley. “Wander in to our brick and mortar shop (adjacent to the market area) for handcrafted goods made from 100+ more local Makers!” Ekman adds.
Makers Market continues the history of the DIY spirit in Mill Valley, from its decades-old craft fairs and arts festivals to myriad creativity-driven hubs at MVLY. It also builds on the Lumber Yard’s ever-growing reputation as a community gathering space.
The event is free. Here are the details and RSVP info for July 8th, Aug. 12 and Sept. 9.
