If you have kids, these last days of summer are all about sorting out the fall schedule – figuring out the school day and making a plan for after-school activities.

From sports to the arts and seemingly limitless activities in between, there’s no shortage of things for kids to do in Mill Valley, and it can be a bit overwhelming. Mill Valley Recreation looks to make it easy with its Enrichment program, which provides an array of after school activities at the Community Center but also on each of the Mill Valley School District elementary school campuses, so kids can go there straightaway from school.

To help parents navigate those options, Mill Valley Recreations is hosting an Enrichment Expo on Monday, Aug. 20 from 4-6pm. The event is two-pronged: while parents learn about the fall enrichment options, their children simultaneously get to explore some of the City’s trucks and heavy machinery with the firefighters and workers who operate them at a “Trucks, Trucks, Trucks” event.

The 411: Mill Valley Recreation hosts an Enrichment Expo and a “Trucks, Trucks, Trucks” event for kids on Monday, Aug. 20 from 4-6pm at the Community Center. 180 Camino Alto. Free.
