Callie Zimmerman, who just graduated from Marin Academy and will be attending Tufts University in the fall, is the Mill Valley Chamber‘s selection as Artist of the month and more. She was selected to be the cover contest winner for our upcoming MV Community map.
“I will be pursuing a dual degree and will end with a masters in photography from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA), so I am excited to continue to pursue photography,” Zimmerman says.
“My goal is to open people’s eyes to the beauty of the nature we surround ourselves with every day and I hope these images convey that message,” she adds.
Zimmerman will show her work from Jul 16 through Aug 31, with First Tuesday Artwalk set for August 6th, 5:30-7:30pm.
Aside from the First Tuesday Artwalk, the Chamber’s office is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 12-4pm.
