Marin photographer Kimberley Carr Harmon, who says she draws inspiration from nature, composition, and an emotional connection to the earth, is set to display her gorgeous photography at the Mill Valley Chamber’s office at 85 Throckmorton throughout April.
Harmon’s photographs are realized visions of her spiritual relationship with nature, she says. “Some abstract, some traditionally composed, my pieces are versatile in their ability to adapt to the environment they are placed in, as well as keeping a strong force of nature in the rooms they occupy.”
For many Marin residents, the natural environment that surrounds us is a refuge of calm and wonder from the technology-centric rhythm of most of our days. Count Harmon among those who seek that refuge, as well as an emotional connection to the earth. She sees her photographs as realized visions of her spiritual relationship with nature.
The exhibit runs throughout April, including a reception on Tuesday, April 5 as part of the Mill Valley Arts Commission’s First Tuesday Artwalk (5:30-7:30pm). 85 Throckmorton Avenue.
