They looked around, and connected in the early stages with the owners of the redeveloped property at 250 East Blithedale Ave., the former home of Mill Valley Services and Tony Tutto Pizza. On the heels of a “major rollercoaster ride” of a buildout process of their 1,500-square-foot in the new development at 250 East Blithedale Ave., where they’re positioned in suite C between Compass Real Estate and Faye Jamali’s Belle Marin Aesthetic Medicine, Davis says they’re thrilled to be settling into their new space this month.
“A brand new buildout is not for the weak for the heart. But we’re thrilled to be in a space that allows us to serve more of our clients at once, hire some new stylists and launch our own blow dry bar, which is a whole new extension of our business,” says Davis, who first Charbonnier while working together at Magnolia Avenue Salon in downtown Larkspur, where they morphed from colleagues to friends to partners. Walk-in blow drys are available.
“We’re becoming a one-stop beauty salon for offering waxing, eyelashes and makeup services,” she adds, noting that they’ll be adding nail services soon. “It’s been a long journey but it’s all been worth it. It’s all happening.”
Davis and Charbonnier, who are among the very few Certified L’Oreal Professionnel Balayage Artists in Northern California, are three-time winners of Best Salon in Marin IJ’s Readers Choice awards.
