Irene Eide & Little Folkies Family Band Return to Sweetwater for Annual Summer Show – June 8

Little Folkies Family Band, a folk, old-time and bluegrass band for kids, returns to the Sweetwater Music Hall on Saturday, June 8 for its annual summer show.

The band, led by founder Irene Eide, hosts an award-winning folk music class for children ages 0-5 and their parents and caregivers at multiple locations throughout the Bay Area in San Francisco, Berkeley and Mill Valley. Their catalog includes songs that span original, and obscure traditional folk songs for children, from bluegrass legends like Peter Rowan (Bill Monroe, Old And In The Way), Blaine Sprouse (Bill Monroe, The Osbourne Brothers, Jimmie Martin), Paul Knight (Peter Rowan Bluegrass band, Sharon Gilchrist (Uncle Earl), Avram Siegel (Kathy Kallick) and more.
