Participants experience the Reformer, the Wunda Chair and the Tower Apparatus with different instructors and then cap the week with some bubble and small bites, IFP founder Sharon Gallagher-Rivera says.
Internal Fire Pilates founder Sharon Gallagher-Rivera has come up with a unique way to end the first week of the month by combining a circuit class with a mini happy hour-esque celebration. She says the “new and highly addictive, hour-long workout class, held on the first Friday of every month at 4pm at her Miller Ave. studio, “allows participants to experience the Reformer, the Wunda Chair and the Tower Apparatus through the expert lens of a different instructor stationed at each apparatus.”

“This class is not only a wildly fun and social time, but also gives students access to the insight of three different Pilates instructors in one hour,” Gallagher-Rivera says. “Each monthly class offers a different roster of highly skilled instructors, with three groups of four students in each rotation to keep the class size small and still focused on good form.”

“After class, we share laughs, bubbly and small bites as a mini end-of-week celebration!” she adds. “The class allows everyone to learn new Pilates exercises each time and possibly experience apparatus they might not have had access to in the past. Visiting with fellow Pilates enthusiasts after class and meeting new people is just the cherry on top.”

The 411: Internal Fire Pilates is at 457 Miller Avenue. Sign up here for the Pilates Social Club on Friday, August 5 at 4pm.
