Whether it’s seeing him roll into or out of his hometown in a classic car or, or after hosting what became a Mill Valley tradition, longtime local resident and renowned Red Rocker Sammy Hagar has been a staple in our community for decades, raising nearly $50,000 for Kiddo!.
“Our children were educated in the Mill Valley School District,” Hagar said after the 2017 edition of the event. “Kari and I are so grateful for the broad arts education they received thanks to funds raised by Kiddo!. We are thrilled to be able to support the Kiddo! Endowment, and help ensure that all of the children of Mill Valley have the same benefits for years to come.”
“Being honored like that in front of my family and more friends than I thought I had, touched my heart so there is no word that can come close to saying what I felt and am still feeling,” Hagar said. “The amount of Redheads that showed up was mind blowing to the committee as well who said it was one of the best turnouts ever.” The event included appearances by Guy Fieri, Michael Anthony, John Mayer and Chad Smith, among many more.
