Their customers, friends and supporters quickly rallied to help the shop recover, launching a GoFundMe campaign and raising more than $6,000 to date toward a $10,000 goal to help the couple restore its inventory.
The burglars reportedly “took an enormous amount of expensive plants, pottery and sculptures including one of a kind art” from the shop, which is located on the Redwood Hwy. frontage road in Strawberry.
“We are so grateful and surprised by so much generous support from so many,” the couple wrote in a reply to the fundraising campaign. “Not only will this allow us to help restock what was taken, but it restores our faith in humanity and inspires us to continue what Green Jeans has to offer.”
