For Mill Valley foodies, few events rival the arrival of the quarterly Edible Marin & Wine Country magazine, and its Spring issue comes with an extra dash of excitement: its cover image was created by acclaimed Marin artist Michael Schwab, whose new Mill Valley logo has been the talk of the town in recent weeks.

EMWC Publisher Gibson Thomas says she was thrilled to work Schwab on the image for the cherry-laden issue, which also features an article on “Ranches with Views about three Marin ranches available for rent for vacations or events (Straus Home Ranch, the homestead of Straus Family Creamery family; Stemple Creek Ranch in Tomales; and Cowtrack Ranch in Nicasio. The issue also includes   story about healthy dog food that was shot at Belcampo in Larkspur, as well as Thomas’ story on her experience diving for abalone.

Edible Marin & Wine Country is available throughout Mill Valley at places like Equator Coffees & Teas downtown and at Proof Lab, Shoreline Coffee Shop, Good Earth Natural Foods, Piatti, Mill Valley Market, Whole Foods Blithedale, Whole Foods Miller Ave, Piazza D’Angelo and the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center.
