Snoop Dogg, the Inimitable, multi-platinum rapper who first came to worldwide fame on Dr. Dre’s debut solo album, The Chronic, is touching down in Mill Valley on Oct. 11 as DJ Snoopadelic to perform a DJ set spanning “his favorite R&B classics from back in the day as well as his own hits ranging from his G-Funk breakout tracks to his recent smooth grooves,” the Sweetwater announced.
“The iconic MC may even step out from behind his DJ rig to bust a rhyme on perennial favorites like “Gin & Juice” or “The Next Episode.” Snoop Dogg has sold more than 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide.
The event Is a benefit for the future restoration of one of Mill Valley’s community treasures, the Sequoia Theatre.
