Mo Mandel.

On the heels of a trio of sold-out sets last fall, the always-hilarious comedian Mo Mandel is coming back to the Junction Stage for what promises to be a pair of amazing nights of standup comedy, oodles of beer on tap and delicious pizza.

Mandel made more than 40 appearances on comedian Chelsea Handler‘s “Chelsea Lately” talk show, and he created his one-hour comedy show “Negative Reinforcement” special on Amazon Prime Video. Mandel has also made numerous appearances on “Conan” and “The Late Late Show,” had a half hour special on Comedy Central, and is a recurring guest on popular podcasts from the like of Adam Corolla, “Bertcast,” “Your Mom’s House” and “The Fighter and the Kid.”

Mandel has also guest starred on such hit shows as “Modern Family,” “Castle,” and “Happy Endings,” and he was one of the leads in the NBC comedy “Free Agents” opposite Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn. Most recently, Mandel created and hosted a special for The Discovery Channel called “Small Town Throwdown.” Mandel has also made appearances on CBS’s hit show “2 Broke Girls,” Comedy Central’s new sitcom “Corporate,” and was the head writer for Theo Vons’s pilot “Man Up” on Comedy Central.

Mandel’s return to The Junction marks the two-year anniversary of Dez and Liz Fiedler’s multi-faceted Junction Beer Garden & Bottle Shop + Jeff Krupman’s Pizza Hacker combo, regularly killing it with live music and arts bookings in the space. Mandel’s three performances – 7pm and 9pm on Saturday, July 23 and 8pm on Sunday, July 24 – are indoors within the Junction’s beer hall. Vaccination cards or digital proof of vaccination required for admittance. 18 and over. East Bay comedian Chris Riggins opens the set. Tix for each performance are $35.

The Junction will be serving a selection of beer/wine/cider/kombucha in the beer hall and have a two-drink minimum for the show. Food will not be served in the beer hall. Grab dinner in the restaurant or beer garden and then head in for drinks and laughs.
