Sausalito Backs Measure to Hike Sales Tax by 1% – Should Mill Valley Do the Same?
Mill Valley’s tax rate is 8%, while San Rafael’s is 9%, Novato’s is 8.25%. San Anselmo’s is 8.5%, and that of Corte Madera, Fairfax and Larkspur are each are 8.75%.

The free series of film screenings under the stars on a giant inflatable screen in local parks – all part of a collaboration among Mill Valley Recreation, the Mill Valley Chamber and the California Film Institute – returns for its ninth season with a quintet of blockbuster films across a pair of incredible venues. The Movies in the Park series kicked off in 2014 and has gotten bigger and better every year since.
