The organizers of the parade have teamed up with the Sweetwater Music Hall to showcase some of the iconic photos from parades of yesteryear, a great opportunity for patrons to check out past parade photos and much more. The display will be showcased on Tuesday, April 2nd in the Sweetwater’s outdoor patio. In addition to photos, it will also include posters, pictures and videos.

Organizers have several sites in mind, the IJ reports, though they are mum on specifics. Proposals still have to be vetted, Runner said, acknowledging that there are few potential sites left in Marin. āWeāre still working on the long-term goals,ā Runner said. The restoration work on the 103-year-old, 36-ton engine is being guided by brothers Jeff and Don Millerick at a workshop in Sebastopol.
