Mamahuhu to Host Lunar New Year Event Feat. Floral Artist Tyson Lee & Still-Life drawing (BYO Art Supplies) – Jan. 22, 11am-1pm
Mamahuhu hosts an event – free and open to all – this Sunday, Jan. 22 from 11am-1pm to celebrate the start of the Lunar New Year. Local floral artist Tyson Lee is making a LNY-themed arrangement.

Like past years, there will be Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese foods and traditional dances feverishly rehearsed by students. To minimize risks associated with the ongoing pandemic, masks are encouraged (but not required). We are proud of our safety track record, having hosted over 800+ attendees last year with no known outbreaks at our 2022 Lunar New Year Festival.

Singers Marin is now accepting new singers for its spring season. All Soprano and Alto voices are welcome. Rehearsals start on January 9th and take place on Monday nights In Tiburon from 7-9pm. A concert at the end of the season will be presented to the community on Sunday, May 13th.

Much of the day proceeded with a smattering of brief showers early, bright blue skies for most of it, and then a run-for-cover downpour at the end, concluding with another dry spell that allowed Mayor Jim Wickham to lead the the throngs on the plaza for a countdown to the Holiday Tree Lighting.

Winterfest, the 94941’s annual holiday celebration, returns to the Downtown Plaza on Sunday, Dec. 4, featuring yet another fantastic lineup of singers, dancers and musicians to perform throughout the day.
