City Council to Take Up Outdoor Business Program Again, Eyes Extension Through Oct. 31
City officials have sought a framework that limits outdoor use to June 1 to Oct. 31. The Mill Valley Chamber wholly supports the decision to extend the existing program through Oct. 31, 2022, to allow city officials runway to conduct a study that identifies longer term plans for outdoor use. The Chamber in no way presumes or pre-judges the outcome of such a study

Well, that was uneventful. The City of Mill Valley’s scheduled June 7th City Council election was canceled last week due to a lack of candidates for the three open positions on the five-member council. City officials estimated that scrapping the vote will save the city $45,000 in election expenses.
