What a Wonderful Winterfest!! Part One Is In the Books – See You All Again on Dec. 17th for a Massive Holiday Bash at the Community Center, 12-4pm!

With the grateful support of our partners at Mill Valley Recreations’ Mill Valley Community Center, the second half of our two-part Winterfest will feature another fantastic lineup of singers, dancers and musicians to perform from 12-4pm, along with great activities, Cousin’s Maine Lobster and Hopmonk food trucks, a beverage program for adults and kiddos alike, and much more. Performers on 12/17include the one and only Millbillies, Sweaty Baby,Ā Marin Conservatory of Dance, Rock the Ages, Ellie McKee and Roco Dance & Fitness.

MV Chamber Hosts Artist Barry Toranto’s ‘Windowscape’ Photography in December – Artwalk is Dec. 5, 5:30-7:30

“The Windowscapes are each a single exposure,” Toranto says. “Window reflections merge with what is on the other side of the glass. These photographs are not created by layering. Looking through glass is always surprising. Changing the camera angle changes the reflection: shadows change the way the objects show or do not show. Inanimate objects in a window can seem to have personality, as photographs are inanimate and yet arouse feelings.”

DeBartolo is set to collaborate with another Mill Valley music dynamo with a showcase of two Bright Antenna bands – Windser and Akira Galaxy – at the Sweetwater Music Hall on Dec. 11th.
