“This is not a money-making project, this is a money-spending project, Goldman said to the City Council with a laugh earlier this week. “The goal was just to get as many people to witness the video and understand what an incredible place Mill Valley is.Ā I just want to share it with as many people as possible. Mill Valley is a great model, in my opinion, for what an ideal town would be.”

The Bay Area isnāt a feature film superpower, but it pulls its weightĀ in awards season, according to SFGate. The region also scored a well-deserved nomination for āInside Out 2. The Bob Dylan biopic scored eight Oscar nominations, including a best picture nod and an actor nomination for TimothĆ©e Chalametās portrayal of the icon. Barbaro plays the legendary folk musician Joan Baez, who becomes romantically entangled with Dylan as they tour together.
