Like many Bay Area bands in recent weeks, jam band California Kind has expanded its upcoming 3rd annual Murphy Productions/Famous4 costume dance party at the Osher Marin JCC Kanbar Center into a benefit show for North Bay fire victims.
The event promises some special guests to help raise funds for the cause including David Nelson, who has been dealing with his own serious health issues. This will be Nelson’s first performance in over a year and likely his only one for quite some time, as he continues to focus on his recovery.
A portion of the proceeds go to help our northern California musicians affected by the tragedy.
