Tam Velo Club’s Ride Leaders and Legacy Have Established the Club’s Evolution & Continues to Build on Marin’s Cycling Legacy

“Based in Mill Valley, we host weekly rides every Saturday and Sunday morning, and Wednesday evening, exploring the beautiful roads and trails around the North Bay and beyond. Our club is built around the joy of cycling and the unique camaraderie it fosters. Our mission is to develop a diverse group that enjoys cycling in a non-competitive environment, promote cycling skills and etiquette, and be ambassadors for the sport, all while having fun.”

After 14 years in Mill Valley, Seager Gray Gallery Is Closing Its Doors at the end of January – A Farewell Reception Will Be Held on Saturday, January 25, 5-7 pm

Owners Donna Seager and Suzanne Gray remain committed to the arts and the community of Mill Valley but are pivoting away from their gallery space at 108 Throckmorton Avenue to take on new challenges. Suzanne Gray is partnering with Kelly Scott of The Goods to take the reins of Mill Valley Mercantile, a staple in the downtown boutique community. Long known as a family-owned women’s clothing boutique, the store has been a cherished destination for fashion enthusiasts for over two decades.

PAAM, the Performing Arts Academy of Marin, Is Getting Ready for Their 2025 BAYPAC Premiere, Featuring Competitive Routines From Their Talented Dancers – Jan. 25th, 3pm at Showcase Theater!

PAAM’s CEO and Mill Valley Resident, Annie Leese Thistle is beyond excited for this year’s show. “Our BAYPAC Premiere is a celebration of all of our competitive dances as we get ready to compete and perform regionally through the spring. It is our opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy a fabulous show, and celebrate our BAYPAC and PAAM Squad dancers all the way through our graduating seniors.”

Throckmorton Theatre Hosts 2nd Annual ‘Raise Our Voices’ Event – a Fundraiser for the Theatre Arts Programs at the Throckmorton Theatre – Feb. 1, 7pm

Marin Officials Laud Regional Sea-Level Adaptation Plan

“Even relatively small increases in the bay water levels will cause major flooding impacts,” said Roger Leventhal, an engineer with the Marin County Flood Control District. That’s why Leventhal, Marin planners and environmental groups are applauding the San Francisco Bay Area Conservation and Development Commission for adopting a first-of-its-kind regional shoreline adaptation plan.

Help Clove Galilee and Jenny Rogers, Former Mill Valley Arts and Recreation Director, Recover After Wildfires

Clove and Jenny are pillars of their community who now face the challenge of rebuilding their lives after experiencing unprecedented losses. They are overwhelmed by where to start, and any contribution will be immensely appreciated. We are raising funds to help them with immediate needs like clothing, housing, food and essentials, as well as to rebuild their home in the aftermath of this terrible tragedy.
