Hometown festival organizers from Noise Pop Industries and the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce that their independently-owned-and-operated Mill Valley Music Festival will officially return to the greater San Francisco Bay Area for a two-day celebration on May 10-11, 2025.
To celebrate the fourth annual festival, organizers of the boutique NorCal festival will release a small number of early bird two-day passes for purchase via www.MillValleyMusicFest.com beginning this Thursday, October 24 at 10am PST. Fans are encouraged to act fast as these discount-priced tickets are limited in supply and pricing will increase as the event date approaches.
Weekend passes offer access to a sprawling outdoor festival grove set to host more than a dozen incredible music performances between two stages, one of which is dedicated to showcasing local Bay Area talent to preserve and uplift the local arts community.
Throughout the weekend event, organizers will offer a taste of the good life in Mill Valley with the region’s best artisans, food vendors, and philanthropic causes; plus family-friendly activities including the ever-popular Kids Village, immersive art installations, and roaming performers; as well as local vintners participating in the Wine Valley programming and special Mother’s Day Weekend treats to be announced soon.
”We love our community deeply and we are proud to keep this amazing, family-friendly, multi-faceted May weekend event flourishing and raising the profile of this wondrous place,” says Jim Welte, executive director of the Mill Valley Chamber. “The launch pad of the Mill Valley Music Festival is Friends Field, in the heart of the 94941 and surrounded by some of the Bay Area’s gargantuan Bay Area monoliths – the 2,500-foot Mount Tamalpais, Muir Woods National Monument, and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area just across the Golden Gate Bridge. Adventure, delicious cuisine, a myriad of arts and culture, and an amazing depth of music history are our jam. Come have one of the best homegrown live music experiences in the Bay. While we get to building the 4th edition of this vibrant event, make your plans for an avalanche of pure joy in the spring!”
“After three strong years getting this fest off the ground, we’ve really rounded the corner with Mill Valley and are hitting our stride as a team in Year 4. It’s been incredible to watch this community rally together and support our local and independently-produced fest, something we don’t take for granted. This is why I think our fans will be thrilled to see how the festival will grow as we continue elevating the onsite experience each year,” said Michelle Swing, CEO of Noise Pop Industries.
Coming off the success of an incredible third edition last spring which boasted 10,000+ total attendees, 40+ local businesses, and nearly 20 music acts, Mill Valley Music Festival will return to Mill Valley’s Friends Field, a Redwood-lined destination less than an hour from the heart of San Francisco offering ample greenspace perfect for dancing, dining, shopping, and soaking up sunrays.
With a highly-anticipated 2025 music lineup, expansive vendor village, food and beverage pop-ups, sprawling art activations, and authentic NorCal indie spirit, this two-day celebration is perfectly suited for local Bay Area music-lovers of all ages and makes for a worthy springtime road trip.
Stay tuned for more festival news, including the new music lineup slated to drop early next year, along with more details surrounding the 2025 nonprofit beneficiaries, corporate sponsors, media partners, and local businesses involved with bringing this fourth festival edition to life.
