2023 Movies in the Park.
A pair of Mil Valley’s biggest, boldest and most exciting events – the Mill Valley Music Fest and a Memorial Day weekend for the ages are now in the rearview mirror as we slide into the end of the 2022-23 school year.
But there is so much post-May fun on the way.
It all starts with the 112th Annual Dipsea Race on June 11th, with a multi-faceted Comedy in the Plaza on June 15, with Concerts in the Plaza, Mill Valley Film Festival and the Fall Arts Fest to follow.
Between now and then, however, it’s all about Movies in the Park.
The free series of film screenings under the stars on a giant inflatable screen in local parks – all part of a collaboration among Mill Valley Recreation, the Mill Valley Chamber and the California Film Institute – returns for its ninth season with a quintet of blockbuster films across a pair of incredible venues. The Movies in the Park series kicked off in 2014 and has gotten bigger and better every year since. In 2018, the MV Chamber organized a successful fundraising campaign to raise enough money to purchase all of the equipment required to produce the series, propelled by a $5,000 grant from the Outdoor Art Club.
All films begin at sunset. No Reservations Required. No capacity limits. No snacks available for purchase.
