Artists Dazzle Across Myriad Mediums at 2021 Mill Valley Fall Art Festival
As has been the case with all of Mill Valley’s major events over the past 18 months of the COVID-19 pandemic, the most important outcome of the two days of the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival is that they happened, safely and beautifully in the always-stunning redwood grove at Old Mill Park.

It’s a collaboration between the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce and the treasure trove that is the Mill Valley Public Library‘s Lucretia Little History Room.

Calling all art-loving kiddos: The Mill Valley Historical Society is inviting children and their families to come to the Mill Valley Lumber Yard (129 Miller Ave.) on a trio of upcoming Saturdays – Sept. 18, Sept. 25, and Oct. 2, from 11am to 2pm – to help paint a full-size model of historic Engine No. 9, a 100-year-old steam engine that is the only surviving piece of the once world-famous Mt. Tamalpais and Muir Woods Railway.

The Movies in the Park series kicked off in 2014 and has gotten bigger and better every year since. In 2018, the MV Chamber organized a successful fundraising campaign to raise enough money to purchase all of the equipment required to produce the series, propelled by a $5,000 grant from the Outdoor Art Club.
