The Marin Theatre Company has long been an indispensable source of thought-provoking creativity, and as the leaders of all of our myriad artistic institutions are fully aware, keeping those organizations afloat in these post-pandemic years demands the heaviest of lifts.
With that in mind, MTC is hosting the ‘Garden Party of the Season,’ an evening filled with “Gourmet Food, Fine Drinks, Great Music, Fun Auction Items and Wonderful Company.”
Here are some compelling reasons to attend, per MTC:
Live theatre matters. Theatre allows us to immerse ourselves in a story as it happens live, right in front of our eyes, with real people. Its essence is performers and audience in the same space, sharing the same air, allowing us to put ourselves in the characters’ shoes and feel what they feel. There’s nothing like it!
Marin Theatre Company is part of the cultural heart of our community. From its modest grass-roots beginnings almost 60 years ago, MTC has been bringing local audiences critically-acclaimed, award-winning plays, and is now the leading professional theatre in the North Bay and premier mid-sized theater in the Bay Area.
Arts education and access to the arts for our local students is essential. Theatre is transformative. MTC is committed to theatre arts education that can help foster the growth of compassionate, creative, and courageous individuals of all ages. We provide quality theatre arts camps and classes that thousands of students participate in.
A new season to announce from our new Artistic Director, Lance Gardner. We’re thrilled to have Lance Gardner as our new Artistic Director; an actor and producer who has earned dozens of theatre credits over the last 20 years. Be the first to hear about Lance’s plans for the new season and other ambitions for making Marin Theatre Company the place where new things will happen!
We need your help. Ticket sales and subscriptions cover only a fraction of the costs of operating a theatre and producing plays. Marin Theatre Company depends on the generous support of our donors. Like many arts organizations, the pandemic hit MTC hard and we have struggled to regain our our fiscal strength. Thanks to people like you, we can do it. Please help!
We have BIG DREAMS for the future and your support at the Spring Soiree helps make them a reality. Dream BIG with us.
