This vibrant musical is fabulously brought to life by our superbly talented teen performers. Set in Chicago during the ājazzā age, the original musical was based on a 1926 play with the same name, written by reporter Maurine Dallas Watkins, about actual criminals and crimes on which she reported. The musical was brought to life with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book written by Bob Fosse and Fred Ebb.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream has always lived up to its name, a mad dash into delusion that transforms all who experience it.Ā A quartet of lovers leave the court of Theseus and Hippolyta, evading a blocking parent and unjust law. They enter the realmĀ of the contending fairy rulers, Oberon and Titania, andĀ supernatural sidekicks that include Robin Goodfellow, better known as Puck.Ā For a special performance on Saturday August 17, the show will move from the stage into the redwood groves.Ā
