As we reported in this space some months ago, longtime Tamalpie owner stepped away from our her very popular Warehouse space at 444 Miller Avenue earlier this year.Ā She has since passed the baton to Shop Camino, Debbie Loughran’s exciting new business.Ā A Ken Fulk alum, Debbie Loughran brings 20 years of expertise in high-end residential and hospitality interior design. Stop into the shop and experience our lively interactive curated events and gatherings to bring joy to your home. Iād describe the pizza served at Tamalpie in Mill Valley as one with a Neapolitan crust and California-style toppings. This style suits its clientele just fine. The crust is thinnish, softly chewy and just a little crisp on the bottom. Toppings are fresh and first-rate, like Hobbsā meats and house-made tomato sauce. Tamalpie, which opened in 2011, is firmly grounded in Mill Valley at the foot of Mount Tamalpais with a list of pizzas named after hiking trails and old camps on the mountain, like Cascade, Railroad Grade and Bootjack.

After four wonderful years at this location, the time has come for a new chapter. Iām retiring this space and moving on to pursue new projects and passions. Itās been an honor to have a little part of me and the furnishings Iāve loved become part of your homes, your families, and your lives. Iāve truly had a wonderful time. I’m excited to share that Iāve sold the business to another passionate entrepreneur, Debbie Loughran, who will carry on the spirit of what weāve built. Sheāll be expanding the offerings with additional services such as interior design, design-and-build solutions, and upholstery work.

Goldberg’s creativity never ceases. This week, they opened for lunch and “we really feel that doing grab and go is really missing on the street,” she says.Ā “We’ll have slices and salads, quick and accessible at reasonable prices for the first week,” she says. “It will all be free. Our hours are going to be lunch until it’s gone, and of course you can still sit down and order a glass of wineĀ and have your pizza alfresco and any of our favorite, but we wanted to fill a void on the street, which is slices, healthy salads, quickly ā “Tpie On the Fly.”
