O’Hanlon Center for the Arts Hosts ‘Off the Shelf’ – an End-of-Year Party & Fundraiser Featuring Altered Books on Silent Auction, Great Food, Crafts & More – Dec. 9

On Dec. 9,Ā O’Hanlon is hosting a winter fundraiser and party.Ā The event is free but they request that people register in advance. A centerpiece of the event is an array of Altered books are on silent auction Ā – auction will close at 8pm. There will be small craft sale in the Loft as well. O’Hanlon will have food provided by a wide range of local restaurants, including Mill Valley Market, Whole Foods, Good Earth Natural Foods, Piazza D’Angelo, Mamahuhu, the Depot Cafe and more.

Mill Valley Native Todd Barbee Was a Force Behind the Recent Transition of the SkyStar Observation Wheel to Fisherman’s Wharf as Part of APEC

While there was plenty of heavy lifting all around to relocate the ferris wheel, which was placed in 2020 as part of Golden Gate Park’s 150th-anniversary celebration from the Music Concourse between de Young Museum and the California Academy of Sciences to Fisherman’s Wharf, Mill Valley native Todd Barbee, a multi-talented designer, helped make the transition happen.
