He first dreamed up The WyldingĀ Woods. on walks through the redwoods with his children and then further developed it through workshops and playtests with Bay Area families, culminating in a sold-out preview last June.

Seven years after its debut at Berkeleyās Aurora Theatre Co., Bay Area playwright Jonathan Spectorās sly, incisive comedy āEureka Dayā is coming to Mill Valleyās Marin Theatre. A spoof of ultra-careful parents discussing vaccination policy at an exclusive private school ā and a spoof of much more than that ā the play has been well received everywhere itās been produced, including London and New York, where it won this yearās Tony Award for best revival of a play. Opening Aug. 28, āEureka Dayā will feature original director Josh Costello (Auroraās artistic director) at the helm.

The stateās park system has 280 parks and about 5,200 miles of trails. The poll, conducted this spring, garnered more than 1,300 responses from the foundationās members and supporters. Rachel Norton, the executive director of the foundation, said the effort was about introducing places to people who might not know about them. The survey featured 10 categories, including best for dog-friendly adventures, best for birdwatching, most kid-friendly, best for camping and best for wildflowers. āTo people in San Francisco and in southern Marin, Mount Tam is not a secret, but it could be to someone from Southern California who is visiting the area for the first time, or somebody from the East Bay who hasnāt been over the bridge in a while,ā Norton said.

Woander is a family play store featuring family friendly games and storytelling products that opened in downtown Mill Valley at 73 Throckmorton on April 19th! Lots of supporters and on-lookers celebrated the event with a ribbon cutting ceremony, with lots of fun and magic all afternoon. There was a live magic show, open gameplay, puppet greeters and a puppet making activity. There is so much more to come!Ā
