Renowned Pianist Larry Vuckovich Is Set Perform at the Mill Valley Community Church Alongside Guitarist Kai Lyons on Sunday, April 27th, 4-6pm
“We go back a number of years having developed a wide-ranging repertoire and also have a close music chemistry,” Vuckovich says. “Kai is an amazing young man who travels regularly performing in Cuba, Brazil, Europe, Morocco and other places. He is one of the most versatile guitarists anywhere ā he and I have a wide-ranging repertoire spanning the areas of swinging Bebop/Afro-Cuban Latin/Brazilian/World Music including a touch of Middle Eastern ā North African, down-home and funky boogaloo blues rhythms, tango jazz + more.

With very heavy hearts, we announce the tragic loss of our brother and dear friend, Sean McGrew. Sean passed away suddenly, tragically, but peacefully on Friday, February 28th. Sean was born and raised in San Francisco and had long career in Recreation and Parks. Contributions are much appreciated and will go towards Memorial Benches in both San Francisco and Mill Valley.

“Babies are everywhere in Mill Valley. I imagine in my previous work-life schedule I didnāt see them all. Or perhaps there are just more of them? Either way, babies can be seen in carriages pushed by either moms, dads or nannies. The problem is they are pushed in the streets. Sidewalks are not always an option because theyāre often blocked and/or difficult to push a carriage on. I missed all the baby action when I worked. Arriving home well past baby bedtimes made certain carriage pushing was not on my radar. So, if you want to see some Mill Valley babies, get out during the day ā just be careful driving!”
