The Sweetwater Music Hall, Mill Valley’s venerable live music institution and one of the most exciting live music venues in Bay Area history, continues to curate and spotlight incredible bands – and this time it comes with some heavy hitters, both in baseball and on stage.

Jake Peavy, who became a World Series champion in 2014 with the San Francisco Giants and has long been a musical juggernaut is his own right, is heading up a fantastic night of music at the Sweetwater on Saturday, April 6th at 8pm.

On the heels of performing a sold out show at The Fillmore with Phil and Graham Lesh to performances, Peavy’s musical journey parallels his storied baseball career, showcasing his versatility and passion in both realms.

As a legendary figure in baseball history, Jake Peavy boasts an illustrious career highlighted by his remarkable achievements on the diamond and his undeniable musical talent.

With two World Series championships under his belt, Peavy’s prowess as a pitcher shone brightest during his tenure with the San Francisco Giants and the Boston Red Sox, etching his name in baseball lore as only the second pitcher ever to win back to back consecutive World Series championship titles with different teams; one in each league. Peavy’s dominance on the mound earned him the prestigious Cy Young Award in 2007, a testament to his unparalleled skill and dedication to the game.

With his Jake Peavy Foundation, Peavy continues to make a difference in the lives of others, supporting various charitable causes like Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and spreading joy through music.

The rest of the bill includes Ben Jerigan, Jeremy Plog, Owen Finley, and Greg Deluca, featuring Sam Bush, Tim Flannery, and more surprise guests! Big Steve Parish will serve as the MC.
