The Mill Valley Chamber’s November artist of the month is Kieran Strachan!
His show title is ‘Benthic Wind Of the Subconscious Ocean.’
First Tuesday ArtWalk is Tuesday, November 4th, 5:30-7:30 pm. There will also be live solo guitar music by SunHunter, the 2025 Best of Marin “Best Local Band” winner, sunhuntermusic.com.
Biography: Inspired by the dichotomy of the beautiful West Marin coast and the chaotic pandora’s box of internet culture, the pollution and dilution from the world of the human and the natural world, Kieran creates portals into times past and prophetic future.
His works are a cathartic jesters take on the patterns of medieval feudalism, dystopian science fiction and natural landscapes imbued by the power of wind in the trees litany.
Materials: Spanning the cultures of the old world oil painters from Egypt to Europe, Kieran seeks to unite old world techniques with a current use of digital media and 3d printing.
