Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church dives into Christmas this month with a pair of events. It kicks off with a Drive-Thru Nativity scene at the church on Sunday, Dec. 19, 5-6:30pm. “Join us from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle as we bring the Christmas story to life,” says Tricia Wiig, Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries. Enjoy scenes featuring angels, shepherds, wise men and live animals (!) on your way to the nativity. Please bring new, unwrapped toys for children in need in our community (ages 1-16) and canned goods for our local food bank.”
Five days later, the church hosts a pair of Christmas Eve services, starting with a 4pm service designed for families with young children and followed by a traditional candlelight service at 7pm. Both services will be held in person as well as via Facebook (@mttamchurch)
