Like all live music arts organizations, the nonprofit Mill Valley Philharmonic took its lumps during the worst of the COVID-19 crisis given the inability to gather music lovers into a room to enjoy live performance.
But the longtime Mill Valley institution, led by Artistic Director Dana Sadava, is unveiling its latest set of performances with the “Magic of Mahler,” a deep dive into Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 in G Major featuring soprano Jayne Diliberto.
The performances are set for Friday, November 10 at 8pm and Saturday, November 11 at 3pm, with a free open dress rehearsal on Wednesday, November 8 at 7:30pm.
The performances are at the Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church at 410 Sycamore Avenue in Mill Valley.
