The Mill Valley Philharmonic, a longtime local non-profits arts organization, continues to curate with creativity, innovation and beautiful performances.

Hear iconic music from “Star Wars,” “The Godfather,” “Amadeus” and more at the Mill Valley Philharmonic’s musical tribute to the silver screen, the next show of its 25th anniversary season.

Led by San Rafael conductor Dana Sadava, the show kicks off with a dress rehearsal at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Tam United Methodist Church at 410 Sycamore Ave. in Mill Valley. Admission is free with RSVP. The concert will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Mill Valley church. Admission is $20 or free for those 18 and younger.

The show will also feature a performance of Joseph Haydn’s “Trumpet Concerto” by Fred Munic, who won the Mill Valley Philharmonic’s Musician Concerto Competition.
