Mill Valley Winterfest Returns on Dec. 17th for a Massive Holiday Bash at the Community Center – Indoors and Outside, 12-4pm!

We are FAR from finished. On Sunday, Dec. 17th from 12-4pm at the Community Center, we’ll have another lineup of great performances – including the one and only Millbillies, Sweaty Baby, Marin Conservatory of Dance, Rock the Ages, Ellie McKee and Roco Dance & Fitness, as well as a bunch of great children’s games and activities like the huge slide, a jumpy house, cornhole and an array of additional activities, both inside and outside at the Community Center. We’ll have Cousin’s Maine Lobster and Hopmonk food trucks, a beverage program for adults and kiddos alike, and much more and live music throughout the day.

Marin IJ: Marin Authorities Focus on Curbing Holiday Retail Theft

In the Mill Valley Market instance, employees delayed and detained the suspect after they tried to flee. Ryan Canepa, a manager and co-owner of the store, said that his staff hasn’t noticed a spike in thefts during past holidays. He said the staff hasn’t changed its policy of detaining suspected thieves. “We always tried to catch people who steal from us,” Canepa said.
