āThis has been an idea thatās been going on for many many years and thereās been stops and starts to it. And some of that is because this is a pretty major construction project,ā said Vanessa Justice, whose term on the Mill Valley Parks and Recreation Commission recently ended. In Mill Valley, hundreds of youths play the sport in clubs and programs. For years, enthusiasts have set up makeshift nets and courts on the cityās hockey fields on Sunday, when those fields are closed to organized sports, Justice said.

Tam Church is gearing up for our spring and summer activities to which the entire community is invited. The first is Holy Week in April including our Easter worship service and children’s egg hunt: Palm Sunday Worship – Sunday, April 13th, 10:30am. Celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem with palms, praise, and joyful worship. Maundy Thursday Service – Thursday, April 17th, 6:30pm. A reflective evening of scripture, meditation, and Holy Communion as we remember Jesus’ last supper. Good Friday – Friday, April 18th, 9am-4pm. The sanctuary will be open for self-guided prayer. Come anytime for quiet reflection and spiritual renewal.
