Yes on L Campaign Hosts a Series of Community Forums @ Assembly, 319 Miller Ave., Continuing With Forums on Oct. 28th at Assembly and Oct. 29 at Assembly
On Monday, October 14th from 7-8 PM at Assembly at 319 Miller Ave., the Measure L campaign hosted a community forum about the measure, an important local initiative aimed at securing Mill Valley’s future. There are two additional Measure L Community Forums:
Meeting 2: Monday, Oct. 28 7-8 PM at Assembly, 319 Miller Ave. Mayor Urban Carmel will present the Measure and will take your questions.
Meeting 3: Tuesday, Oct. 29 7-8 PM at Assembly, 319 Miller Ave. City Council member Caroline Joachim will present the Measure and take your questions.

The Redwoods, A Community of Seniors in Mill Valley, Touts Environmental & Cost Reduction for Residents: Participation in Marin Municipal Water Program Has Reduced Water Usage by 33%!
The Redwoods, Mill Valley’s Community of Seniors, has been working to reduce its water usage through participation in Marin Water’s “Cash for Grass” program that offers rebates to homeowners and businesses that replace grass with drought tolerant landscapes. Since completing the project in August, The Redwoods, home to over 300 low- and moderate-income seniors, has achieved a reduction of water usage by a third over last year.

Seven accomplished Mill Valley residents will be honored at an elegant program and buffet supper from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 27 at the Mill Valley Community Center. The six will receive bronze statuettes designed by the late sculptor John Libberton. Mill Valley is the only city in Marin County that officially recognizes the talents and achievements of people in the arts.
