ÆRENA Galleries‘ arrival in town in 2022 continued on the great art news after a collective quartet of renowned local galleries – Seager/Gray Gallery, Desta Gallery, Kim Eagles-Smith Gallery and Robert Green Fine Arts – launched the Mill Valley Art Dealers Association to raise our community’s profile as an arts mecca.
The gallery, long been a steady presence in Napa, Healdsburg and St. Helena, has wasted no time ingratiating itself to the art lovers of the 94941.
In February, they’re showcasing the sculptures of Damon Hyldreth, which appear both static and fluid, rigid and flexible, strong and smooth. Hyldreth coaxes exquisite organic forms out of metals, allowing his materials to dictate their final shape. In an ultimate collaboration between man and matter, Hyldreth unifies nature and structure through free-flowing energy and architecture.
