ÆRENA Galleries, long a steady presence in Napa, Healdsburg and St. Helena, wasted no time ingratiating itself to the art lovers of the 94941 since its arrival in 2022 at 53 Throckmorton Ave., a block that includes the Sequoia Theatre and many of the most vibrant retails shops and restaurants in town.
Now the gallery is hosting “Words on Water,” a poetry reading featuring local poets Patricia Nelson (at top left) and Bonnie Thomas (at top right), along with the soon-to-close art exhibition “Lightness of Being,” a showcase featuring the paintings of Thomas Monaghan.
The event, set for Wednesday September 20, features wine from 5:30-6pm and poetry from 6-7pm.
