The jolt of baseball fever from the San Francisco Giants’ three World Series championships continues to reverberate in the 94941, as the Mill Valley Little League, whose popularity was chronicled by the New York Times in 2011, is as popular as it’s ever been.
A grand total of 893 (!) kids are signed up to play Mill Valley Little League this year, one of the highest totals ever. Baseball fever!

With nearly 900 kids signed up to play, Mill Valley Little League’s annual Opening Day Parade, set for Saturday, March 21 from 8am–9:30am downtown, stands to be in the span to be one of the biggest events in town this year. The City of Mill Valley issued an advisory about the parade’s impact on traffic delays and a recommendation to carpool, bike or walk to or through downtown on Saturday morning.
