Though every month should be Earth Awareness Month, April is home to Earth Day and thus tends to be the month when we all galvanize around environmental and beautification efforts.
To that end, the Mill Valley Community Center has a environmental and wildlife photography exhibit in April that is sure to inspire and excite anyone who needs a reminder of the incredible natural beauty around us. The “Earth April” exhibit features renowned local photographers Kirke Wrench, Gary Yost and Randy Cummings, each of whom brings a distinct perspective to the scenery and wildlife around us.
The photos will be on display throughout April at the Community Center (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm), but the photographers will be on hand for an opening night artist reception as part of the First Tuesday Artwalk on April 7 from 6–8pm.
The 411: The Mill Valley Community Center is located at 180 Camino Alto in Mill Valley. Here’s a list of all of the participating artists and venues for the April 2015 First Tuesday Artwalk.
