Piazza D’Angelo co-owners Luigi Petrone and Felicia Ferguson are ramping up their efforts to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 14 from 11am to 9pm.
“Moms eating at Piazza D’Angelo on Sunday, May 14th will receive a complimentary mimosa for la mamma!, according to co-owner Felicia Ferguson. “We will be serving our regular menu along with brunch items and other seasonal specials.”
Those brunch specials (until 2pm) include Toast alla Tiramisu – Tiramisu french toast with mascarpone, chocolate shavings; Frittata di Verdure – Frittata with farmer’s market vegetables; Uovo al Forno – Baked eggs with oven-roasted tomato sauce, ricotta, mozzarella; Eggs Benedict con Salmone – Poached eggs, smoked salmon, focaccia, grilled asparagus, hollandaise;
Mother’s Day Specials will include Risotto con Asparagi – Vialone Nano rice, Delta asparagus, lemon mascarpone, parmigiano; Pasta Primavera – House made pasta, farmer’s market vegetables, olive oil, garlic, fresh herbs
Sogliola alla mugnaia – Petrale sole, lemon, parsley, butter, roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables.
