The Sweetwater Music Hall – Mill Valley’s venerable live music institution and one of the most exciting live music venues in Bay Area history – had an absolute blockbuster November, toasting its 50th anniversary with some of the biggest names in music, including (of course) co-owner Bob Weir, the legendary Grateful Dead rhythm guitarist/singer, Wolf Bros. frontman, solo artist, Sweetwater co-owner and a musical icon most likely to pop on stage at any moment,
The venue also hosted its venue’s 50th anniversary gala and welcomed the likes of Garage A Trois, Big Brother & the Holding Company, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott and Jason Crosby & Friends among others.
They’re keeping the momentum rolling in December with Maria Muldaur’s Holiday Swing on Dec. 15, a Holiday Tribute to Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” featuring Jason Crosby on Dec. 18, a Back Porch Jug Band Christmas with special guest Shana Morrison on Dec. 22 and a New Year’s eve performance by Hot Buttered Rum featuring Jessica Malone and Hattie Craven.
